Phone Camera Repair in Sydney

Common phone camera problems

Your phone camera is made up of several parts, and each problem points to a different repair:

• Cracked or scratched lens glass: photos look hazy, streaky or have bright flares. Usually fixed by replacing the rear camera lens glass, one of the cheapest repairs.
• Blurry photos that won't focus, or a shaking, buzzing lens: usually the camera module itself, often after a drop.
• Black screen in the camera app: could be the camera module, a connector or software. We check before quoting.
• Front camera faults: blurry selfies or a black front camera, sometimes linked to Face ID problems on iPhones.

Which camera does my phone need?

Many phones have more than one rear camera: main, ultra-wide and telephoto. Some models list each one separately in the price list, so you only pay for the camera that is faulty. If you are not sure which one has failed, open the camera app and switch between 0.5x, 1x and 2x or 3x. Note which one is blurry or black, or tell us what you see and we will work it out.

Camera repairs for creators

If you shoot photos or video for work or social media, a faulty camera stops you in your tracks. After every camera repair we test focus, stabilisation, the flash and video recording, so you can get back to creating.

How long does it take?

Most camera and lens repairs take 30 minutes to 2 hours once your phone is with us and the part is in stock. The time for your model is shown next to its price.
